Kensington and Chelsea selects mini-marathon stars Over 300 young runners from eleven borough schools took part in Kensington and Chelsea's mini-marathon trial in Holland Park on Wednesday 8 October. The runners, aged between 11 and 17, ran in the two-and-a-half mile race to represent their schools and compete for a place in the borough's team to run in the London mini-marathon in April 2009.
Disabled Badge fraudster brought to justice A man who used his uncle's disabled parking badge in Kensington and Chelsea has been ordered to pay £565 following an investigation by Council fraud officers.
Dog Watch The Council, working with other local groups, has formed Dog Watch to tackle all issues concerning dogs, from dog fouling to threats from dangerous dogs.
