Before and after school care and holiday care

Out of school services are for school-age children to play and learn and have fun in groups. They are usually based in or near schools or in community and leisure centres. If children under eight years old are cared for and the club operates for more than two hours, the club must be registered by OFSTED and meet certain regulations.

The Royal Borough’s Play Service runs breakfast, after school and school holiday play centres in schools across the borough for children between 5-13 years of age. Children must book their places in advance and all registration forms must be completed and signed by the parent/carer upon registration.
