Graduated parking permits

As a direct response to the growing issue of the climate change, the Council is introducing fees for resident parking permits based on vehicle emissions.

The Council believes the scale of charges will help encourage residents to consider the use of less polluting vehicles.

By varying resident permit prices, it seeks to reward residents who choose a more environmentally friendly car.

Charges applicable from 1 June 2008
