Safety practices

Introduction

Is your business well run, and has regard for safe working practices? Or, is it one in which short cuts are taken at the expense of an injury?

Good safety practices

Poor safety practices

  • Use of un qualified staff
  • Poor house keeping
  • Ignoring legislation and advice
  • Lack of emergency procedures
  • Using make-shift or damaged equipment
  • Taking short cuts
  • Neglecting training, informing, supervision and instruction of staff and managers in health and safety issues
